The island of la Gomera is one of the seven in the Canary Islands, belongs to Spain,
and situated in the
North Atlantic with latitude of 28º north. The spring weather all year around, a spectacular orografy with deep “barrancos”, valleys, beaches and the beautiful Garajonay Park, makes that
the visitant in the Island
feel confortable. La Gomera is peacefulness and Nature Island were you can enjoy:
At the mountain. - Walking in all the different places that you can, with different type of difficulty in the countryside (very easy walk, or very difficult walk). The visitant can change from the sea level to 1.500m in less than 30 minutes.
At the sea. - Swimming in the beaches all around the island, and also in some of them you don’t need to wear swimming-dress, because nudist have been permitted for more
than
20 years in these beaches. Rey, Playa de Santiago, Alojera and San Sebastián. Swimming pools at the sea in Vallehermoso, “El pescante” (the old crane) and playa de San Marcos in Agulo. And a special mention to the natural
swimming pool in Hermigua.
